This is a classy, next level dining experience inside Newberg's Allison Inn. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the excellent service throughout our dinner. Our server was professional, friendly, and attentive. She helped explain the menu and checked in with us often. We decided not to have the full tasting menu and chose a la carte instead. We had Citrus Salads, my husband had the Wagyu Steak and I chose the Pork Belly dish. They were both fantastic dishes and the salad was a perfect blend of textures and flavors. Our server recommended two of the desserts: Sticky Toffee Pudding, and a Cheesecake with Mascarpone whipped in, topped with Honeycomb. We were already full, but ordered both thinking we'd have leftovers. We did not. It was just that fantastic. Everything we ordered was as delicious as it looked - creatively inspired plates, fresh and unique flavors, and with a touch of elegance in presentation. There were other quite memorable additions. The chef sent out a complimentary 'amuse bouche' with mushroom and herbs while we waited for our entrées. Also, the waitstaff kept our drinks and water full. Above and beyond. There was an atmosphere of professionalism and focused performance without condescension. Overall, we felt an authenticity in the staff's desire to serve us well which is rare to find, especially in uniformity. We're especially grateful for the experience as it was my 60th birthday and this made the occasion so much more memorable. We're thoroughly looking forward to our next visit to Jory restaurant at the Allison Inn!

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! The staff here offer a warm welcome and the food has a very well balance of texture, temperature and flavor. The pairing of the wine with the courses tells me they understand the pallet. We will definitely be back!

We did the dinner tasting menu and had a great recommendation for a bottle of wine. Impressive wine selection, no doubt. The presentation of each dish was beautiful, though the flavors ranged from truly delicious to just okay. Service was friendly and attentive, with thoughtful touches like napkin refolding. That said, the pacing was quite slow, over three hours total, which made the overall experience feel longer than expected. A nearby large party added to the noise level, and while we understand that some evenings are more challenging than others, ours didn’t quite meet what we had anticipated from a restaurant of this caliber.

Nice setting, good menu. I would go again. The food wasn't as good as we anticipated. The servicer took out order and disappeared. Not that bad but we wanted to order another drink and needed water.

We enjoyed a delightful brunch on the restaurant’s sunny terrace. The cast iron pancake, topped with blueberries and goat cheese ricotta, was absolutely out of this world - fluffy, light, and bursting with flavor.

We did the seven course tasting menu which I recommend. Value was very good...$300 including great wine pairings. Service was excellent. From the Amuse to the finale dessert the courses were unique and each stood out. The wagyu was amazing but the sides served with it were exceptional in their own way. Very well thought out and paced. The wine paired with the Lettuce Wrap was PERFECT! None of the courses missed. Left just a bit stuffed but not ridiculous like some tastings...you can eat and drink it all and not leave uncomfortable or drunk. We do a lot of tastings including some of the big names in NYC and this one is near the top.

Wow, what an incredible experience! We had an anniversary celebration dinner and it was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed their four course tasting menu and there wasn’t a single dish that wasn’t incredible. There were so many thoughtful details and all of the service was top notch.

It was a beautiful setting from the moment you left the main road. Once you walk through the doors into the Jory you are greeted with kindness and thoughtfulness. Our meals were outstanding. Our service was perfect. The wait staff were right on time with everything. Not forgetting you are there but also, not coming to the table too often. We had a lovely walk afterwards around the beautiful property. The gardens were lovely and the sculptures were wonderful. I will definately be returning.
